Announce the contest announcement Latin American culture

On Saturday 15 June ends the call for the "Embark with Culture", under the V Iberoamerican Congress on Culture to be held in November this year in Spain. Contest information was presented by the Deputy Minister of Culture, Yax Leandro accompanied by the director of the Cultural Center of Spain in Guatemala, David Ruiz and the representative of the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI), Marlene Grajeda. The presentation was made at the Hall of Ministers of Culture and Sports of the National Palace of Culture on Thursday 16 May this year.

The contest is open to representatives of the 22 countries of the Ibero-American Community of Nations and Guatemala is one of them. Open to those leading digital projects that are related to the cultural sector and highlights within the Iberoamerican. The congress will be held in the city of Zaragoza, Spain, the 20 to the 22 November. The most important projects will have the opportunity to travel to the activity with benefits, including winning site promotion, a stay at the Center for Art and Technology-Etopia and the possibility of getting one of the 6 end awards.

– The originality of the idea or project.
– The commercial potential and sustainability of the business model.
– The viability of the project.

– The potential for its international, through an expansion plan developed.
– The experience and commitment of the project team promoting.
– The social and / or environmental project in society.

The first American Congress began in 2008 in Mexico City. Subsequently been developed in Sao Paulo, Brazil; Medellin, Colombia; Mar del Plata, Argentina and this time, Saragossa, Spain.
