The Deputy Minister of Sport and Recreation, with members of the Central American Parliament and SICA, (System Integration Center American), met last Friday, to exchange experience in supporting the sport from the private sector and promote the sport and to analyze the feasibility of tax exemption as an incentive to investment.

The state and society as a whole should consider sports, physical education and recreation as part of public health policy, educational and an instrument for peace and the strengthening of democracy in each of the Member Countries of the Central American Integration System (SICA) and the region together.

That is why the Central American Parliament, body of political representation and democratic regional, which is aimed at regional integration as a means to consolidate peace, democracy and development in the Isthmian Central and Insular, assumes topics promoting sport.

Aiming: know the situation in each of the member countries of SICA, Pulse Sports and analyze the feasibility of tax exemption as an incentive to greater involvement and investment by the private sector for the promotion of sports.

Officials participated in the meeting of the Commission on Peace, Citizen Security and Human Rights and the Committee on Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of the Central American Parliament and the Deputy Minister of Sport and Recreation Government of Guatemala.
