Modern and Ballet Folklorico dance suit work of Rodriguez Macal

The school season 2015 Modern and National Folkloric Ballet includes an adaptation of the novel Carazamba Guatemalan writer Virgilio Rodriguez Macal. The functions are performed in the Great Hall "Efraín Recinos" Cultural Center "Miguel Angel Asturias".

It is the first time that this novel is adapted to the dance, and is made with the highest institution of regional dances in Guatemala. For this reason, Carazamba presentation aroused public interest.

In the staging, Viewers can watch the passages living actors, in a recreation of the rainforest in our country. Carazamba tells the misfortunes of Mary, main protagonist of the story, and his butler Pedro. The work brings to life a romance full of action and adventure with an emotional style with political overtones, traditional novels written in the first half of the twentieth century.
