Korean Ambassador Rosa makes change

The 2 October, held Change of the Rose in the Court of Peace of the National Palace of Culture by Yeon-Gon Choo, Korean Ambassador. This activity estuvó chaired by Francisco Ardón, Deputy Minister of Sport and Clariza Castellanos, Deputy Minister of Culture.

"Being in this highly symbolic place this day reminds me nostalgically, that Guatemala was the first overseas post of my diplomatic career 1984, I understand Guatemalan society, its culture and its people and personally I think the country has developed a lot over the 30 years old, I think that is due to the successful end of the internal armed conflict, This is a laudable achievement for the people of Guatemala, I feel so honored to have made the change of peace as a symbol of peace who now lives Guatemala, Craving peace and peace people worldwide yearning "said Ambassador. As part of the tribute was given a recognition that qualifies as a messenger of peace.

Also the whole Ministry to the Embassy held the commemoration of the 4,347 years of the National Foundation of Korea with a small concert Guatemalan marimba and saxophone notes as appreciating Xelajú Moon and Arirang Korean sample notes.

This event was attended: officials from the Ministry of Culture and Sports, Korean Embassy officials, representatives of the diplomatic corps in Guatemala, Indian authorities of the municipality of Chichicastenango, Vinicio Cerezo, former President of Guatemala, Media.
