Joan Miró exhibition at the National Palace of Culture

The exhibition "The song of the sun and the wonders acrostic", which includes works of Spanish painter Joan Miró recalled (1893-1983), will be inaugurated today at the National Palace of Culture, to 19 Hrs. and will remain open until the 15 November.

This art show is in addition to the activities that will be promoting from this day, Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development (AECID) in Guatemala, thus commemoration 25 year anniversary, with a history of supporting the country in many areas, among which stand out the culture and art.

Joan Miró is considered one of the leading representatives of Surrealism, whose work reflects particularly the subconscious. The surrealists trying to capture through abstract forms, images of the deeper reality of the human, the subconscious and the world of dreams.

Exhibition open from Monday to Friday, of 9:00 a 17:00 Hrs. Passage in the Sixth, inside the National Palace of Culture, first level.

The Ministry of Culture and Sports congratulates the (AECID) by holding their 25 year anniversary and thanks on behalf of the government of Guatemala, programs and projects funded by the Government of Spain in Spain, which is a sign of friendship and cooperation ties that bind us.
