Historic Center Festival brings art to the youth

Attendance at performing arts is a way to appeal to new generations about the importance of Guatemalan culture. Under this slogan, Historic Center Festival held during the month of May, an approach to the great activity to be held in November this year and seeks to sensitize children and youth about art. Friday 30 May sharing a stage with three companies was held at the Fine Arts Theatre.

The activity was attended academies With tempo Pro presented the show Romanza including different artistic disciplines. As a second point was the turn of the Community Academy of Railway Museum with works by Artistic Expressions of Time, which is a collective creation that seeks to rescue cultural values ​​of Guatemala.

The Historic Center Festival is an initiative organized by the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Municipality of Guatemala, University of San Carlos of Guatemala and the Guatemalan Institute of Tourism, which aims to give a cultural image of the historic center of Guatemala City.

The objective of these activities is to propose alternative art as cultural entertainment.
