Homage to Victims of Armed Conflict

New Ambassadors of Peace.

Under the motto, "For Reconciliation and Culture of Peace in Guatemala", government institutions and NGOs, commemorated this 25 February, "National Day of Dignity of Victims of the Internal Armed Conflict", activity that took place in the Court of Peace, National Palace of Culture.

Speaking, Michelangelo Balcárcel, Director of the National Dialogue and Jorge Herrera Castillo, President of the National Reparations Commission, stressed that the signing of the peace accords significant achievements were made, as equal opportunities for all Guatemalans and, especially, strengthening of individual and collective human rights of indigenous peoples.
