The moon shone Xelajú with the National Symphony Orchestra

Under the motto: "Music in the Zoo", National Symphony Orchestra, National Cultural Heritage, gave a concert to benefit the Minerva Zoo Quetzaltenango, the past 24 April, Temple of Minerva in the western city, to 20:00 hours.

The event was chaired by the Vice Minister of Culture, Clariza Castellanos, During his speech, highlighted the willingness of the director Sergio Diaz and more 80 members of the OSN, for thus are proving that art can also support an institution that protects the natural heritage of quetzaltecos.

The evening featured musical interpretation of tunes like: Suire Carmen, White Pale, Only once, Malambo and mambo classic and contemporary authors, were the delight of the audience, but certainly the most applauded of the night were the Ferrocarril de los Altos and the inevitable Moon Xelajú.

Proceeds from this activity, will be destined to recover zoo green areas through a process landscape gardens and then seeks to implement, as Ministry, Other Cultural and Recreational activities at this venue.
