Changing the Ministry grants to cultural manager Erica Rosa Berra

The work of the Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of Italy in Guatemala, Erica Berra, was recognized through the ceremony of the Changing of the Rose, awarded by the Ministry of Culture and Sports. The activity held on Wednesday 10 December was chaired by the Deputy Minister of Culture, Clariza Castellanos and was held at the Patio de la Paz the National Palace.

This Ministry awarded the distinction for their support to the promotion of the culture of Guatemala, their work in the rescue of Cultural and Natural Heritage and the support provided to indigenous women artisans to improve their products, among many activities. It has also organized regional seminars on illicit traffic police Core members for the protection of Cultural Heritage in Rome, in collaboration with the Vice Ministry of Cultural and Natural Heritage.

Clariza Castellanos, Deputy Minister of Culture, said that "while in Guatemala, Erica Berra has shown his love for our country and, through its management at the Embassy of Italy and the Italian Institute of Culture, there has been cooperation activities that benefit our fellow citizens ", indicated. "We appreciate your contribution to Guatemala and I urge you to continue to do so for the benefit of Guatemalans who love our culture and art", ended the official.

Berra was named Messenger of Peace with distinction. He later went on to sign the Golden Book of the National Palace of Culture. The activity was attended Asturias Quartet who played Luna issues Xelajú, The Ferrocarril de los Altos and Moon Night between Ruins.
