Vienna Boys Choir Present the National Theatre

With angelic voices of the Vienna Boys' Choir presented on Wednesday night 15 August at 18:00 at the Centro Cultural "Miguel Angel Asturias" Grand Chamber "Efrain Recinos", where they were greeted with applause and public euphoria. First child Guatemala is one of the group.

The musical repertoire included more than 15 melodies, among the best known: Oh fortune Carl Orff; El Condor Pasa Alma Llanera. Also participated in the Symphony Orchestra of Guatemala, grouping over 500 year history, which harmonized voices of children. After the event was present Marimba Group "The Ducks", program of the Municipality of Guatemala who along with the Vienna group played: Xelajú Moon.

At 12 age, Philip Guirola, the Guatemalan who is part of the group since 2009, said he is happy to return to Guatemala after 3 years living in Vienna, and said that music is his life.

The event was chaired by the Director General of the Arts, Lester Godinez and the Director of the National Theatre, Carlos Garcia.

Vienna Boys' Choir will present their second and last concert on Thursday 16 August at 20:00 hours.
