Promote indigenous regional integration

A forum to discuss the establishment of a mechanism of Consultation and Dialogue-PARLACEN Central American Parliament- with ancestral peoples of the region, was performed 25 June at the National Palace of Culture, with support from the Ministry of Culture and Sports-MCD- and the National Commission against Racial Discrimination-CODISRA-.

The Regional Forum of Indigenous and African Descent, was performed with the aim of incorporating topics of interest to these peoples in the regional integration agenda.

This type of approach or meetings, beyond a statement, generates commitments and actions, dialogue is a principle which expresses the value of the word, seen not simply as something that comes from the mouth, but as something that integrates mind and body ... is a commitment that is ratified with these activities, said Carlos Batzin, Minister for Culture and Sports.
