Perform Chamber Music Concerts

Last 3 and 4 September, the National Symphony Orchestra made two concerts as part of their Season of Chamber Music 2014. Both presentations were made at the Chamber Theatre "Hugo Carrillo", Cultural Center Miguel "Angel Asturias".

The concerts called "Brandenburgers", consisted of three melodies for each presentation. The first day was interpreted "Brandenburgers 1, 2 and 3 '. The sequence continued the next day presentation "Brandenburgers 4, 5 and 6 ".

These presentations will be attended by the Guatemalan arranger Gabriel Yela, and guest artist Hugo Arenas.

Gabriel Yela, is a professor of the National Conservatory of Music from 1997 courses in harmony, philosophy and foreign language. He is also principal flutist of the Orchestra. For his part, Hugo Arenas is a composer and pianist, talent that has taken him to various scenarios both inside and outside the country.

Following these presentations, Orchestra will be presenting the 11 September in honor of Independence Day Festivities. Later, will resume its Official Season 2014 the next 25 September.
