Perform Discussion on Regional Cultural Policy

CONVERSATORIO SOBRE LA POLÍTICA CULTURAL REGIONAL

A discussion group for socializing Cultural Policy IPPC Central American Integration, is being made this day in Guatemala City, with Ministry of Culture and Sports MCD, cultural organizations and the American Educational and Cultural Coordination (CECC/SICA).

The goal is to see the progress and challenges involving the integration of IPPC, under the Component one American Cultural Integration Project. Engaged by the CECC / SICA, General Secretariat, Maria Eugenia Rivera Paniagua and Milena Carvajal, Taiwan Project Technical Assistant and Deputy Minister of Culture, Leandro Yax.

The IPPC is the basis to build action plans short, medium and long term, for assembly of a regional cultural policy. This afternoon will be conducting workshops with groups _Work, to formulate proposals based on six strategic guidelines:

  1. Common cultural heritage.
  2. Intercultural Communication.
  3. Citizenship and Culture.
  4. Innovation and Institutional Development.
  5. Economy, creativity and culture.
  6. Education for the intercultural.

 

One of the strategies to implement the IPPC is respecting the identities of Central, dijo Everado Chuc, Cultural Development Director MDC.

At the end of this discussion group will be announced the proposed techniques to promote the IPPC.
