Guatemala Ballet announces season children

Liza la hija mal portadaNext Sunday 2 March at 11:00 hours, Child begins Guatemala Ballet Season with a program for children that includes the plays "The bad girl cover" and "Peter and the Wolf" to be presented at the Chamber Theatre of the Cultural Center "Miguel Angel Asturias".

The children's program will be presented on Sunday 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 March at 11:00 hours. The value of the tickets for the whole season will Q.30 for all age groups and will be on sale at the headquarters of the National Ballet of Guatemala, 5ª. Street 3-43, area 1, phone 22533118 and the Chamber Theatre box office one hour before the event.

Infant season is done in order to bring healthy entertainment Guatemalan children and unite the bonds of family in a colorful, magic, music and dance.

About the works presented:

Misbehaving girl Liza: With music by Ferdinand Herold and choreography by Frederick Ashton version of Eddy Vielman, is a fun book that presents the antics of a young girl in love with a peasant, with the disadvantage that her mother wants her to marry the son of a lord of a lot of money.

Peter and the Wolf: With music by Sergei Prokofiev and choreography by Mathew Hart is a children's book that tells the story of Peter, a child who lives on the edge of a forest who catches a wolf terrorizing around your home.
