Dates and Fun Facts Visitors Center and Museum of Tikal Lithic Site, is located within the urban area of ​​Tikal National Park, in the southern wing of the building for visitors, was built in the year of 1982 by the government of General Lucas Garcia, state funded and opened to the public on 5 November 1989.
