Editors and invite government X international book fair

For the tenth consecutive year will be taking place in the capital city, the 26 July to 04 August 2013, International Book Fair in Guatemala-FILGUA- with the aim of encouraging reading at home and expose the new books in the last year, activity that has the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports and Ministry of Education, a public-private partnership.

EDITORS AND GOVERNMENT X INVITE THE INTERNATIONAL BOOK FAIR

The Ministry of Culture and Sports not only financially support, but also provide technically, as Editorial Culture, Francisco Morales's teacher as lecturer, among other speakers, artistic and cultural groups.

The Deputy Ministry of Sports will support with mimes and face painting. The Ministry of Education is also assisting with activities for children and youth, within the program "Learning to read all".

For the first time it will have specific activities for children and expected daily attendance of about 400 public school students of primary, to be transferred safely support the MOE and municipality of Guatemala.

It is a very important activity because the goal is that Guatemala is a country of readers and in this regard the Ministry has taken the challenge and from that point of view, we support this private initiative the International Book Fair in Guatemala FILGUA, indicó Leandro Yax, Deputy Culture.
