The Guatemalan musician Sergio Fernando Reyes, awarded by the American Hispanic community "Clariperu" as "Clarinetist of the Year" in the 2010, offered night 22 January, a recital of clarinet at the Centro Cultural "Luis Cardoza y Aragón" the Embassy of Mexico in Mexico.

During the evening he played around a 12 Parts, among which highlighted "Improvisation" Anleu Guatemalan author Enrique Diaz and "Lullaby" of Joaquin Orellana. In some parts was accompanied by the "Quartet Asturias" by pianist and teacher, "Roberto Chamalé", and delighting the audience with notes emanating from his clarinet.

Reyes made his debut with the National Symphony Orchestra to 15 age, is currently a Professor at the National Conservatory of Music Germán Alcántara, at the Municipal School of Music and School of Art USAC. Last year released the album "Clarinet Guatemalan", in which he plays works written by local authors.

His talent and love for music has taken him to several countries worldwide. One of his greatest personal achievement is the founder and director of "Clarifest Guatemala", in which international seminars and festivals are held for girls, children, youth and adults at the national and international level.

People like Sergio Reyes strengthen the culture of our country, through music, demonstrating that Guatemala is full of talent in music, artistic and cultural.
