End trainings including multiculturalism in public administration

In San Pedro Necta municipality of Huehuetenango was conducted on 23 this month the last training Intercultural Inclusion in Public Administration. These trainings were given by the Technical Directorate for Cultural Diversity Directorate General for Cultural Development and Strengthening of Cultures of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.

About 25 people, including public sector workers, leaders of both representatives of the town and surrounding communities, appointment with the aim of promoting multiculturalism in our country and thus to recognize and respect differences and the rights of people and the different peoples that coexist in Guatemala were given.

According to Jacqueline Marroquín, Head of Development and Promotion of Intercultural Ministry of Culture and Sports, with San Pedro Necta trainings including intercultural scheduled for this year are concluded. The other departments of the country benefited from the trainings were San Marcos, Escuintla, Quiche, Alta Verapaz and Chiquimula.

This time attended by representatives of the Youth Coordinator, Ministry of Development and the Municipality which was represented by Mr. Jaime Ramiro Gutierrez who appreciated the effort made by the MCD to carry this type of activity to different communities of our country.
