NUEVO AÑO MAYA773Indigenous authorities commemorated the arrival of a new year of the lunar calendar on Friday 16 May. In the archaeological site Kaminaljuyu spiritual guides gathered to make way for the opening ceremony Maya. This activity was attended by officials from the Ministry of Culture and Sports, headed by the Minister and Deputy Minister Batzin Carlos Castellanos Clariza. In the afternoon session two literary works of Guillermo Paz Carcamo researcher presented. The works entitled "Kaji 'Imox" and "Revelations" represent studies conducted by Dr. Carcamo.
