Parents and children enjoy the music of the years 80 con la Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional


The music transcends generations. This was tested members of the National Symphony Orchestra of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, The last friday 17 June, interpreting melodies of the decade 1980. The special concert for Father's Day had a varied audience, in which the presence of several parents stood accompanied by their families.

Antes de las 20 hours, the Grand Chamber "Efrain Recinos", Cultural Center "Miguel Angel Asturias" and looked overwhelmed by attendees. A few minutes later the concert directed by Joshua Vasquez began the tour of iconic themes, British band Bee Gees and other artists of his generation.

The show began with a medley of Bee Gees. Then they played "Night Fever / Woman”, Grease”, “Don’t Throw it All Away”, “Run To Me”, “Too Much Heaven”, “Hard to Say I’m sorry” y “Sr. Duke”. Emotions were already on when they arrived, “In The Stone”, “September” y “Boogie-Wonderland”, by the school band Owls Guatemala. The song "Thriller", Michael Jackson raised a cheer.

The marching band of the Military School of Music was also present to contribute "Abba Gold", “Eye of The Tiger”, “If I Can’t Have You”, “You Stepped into My Life”, “How Deep is your Love”, “Immortality”, “Tragedy” y “Stayin’ Alive”.
